Cybersecurity Consultant

Rogers Capital Technology Services Ltd is searching for a talented Cybersecurity Consultant to work in its Cybersecurity Advisory Services Department.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Play a key role in Understanding, Auditing and Documenting information ecosystems.
• Propose and implement remedial actions with respect to compliance standards.
• Establish security policies, controls and procedures.
• Conduct Penetration Testing and Vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and conduct security awareness programmes by providing orientation, education, and on-going communication to stakeholders.
• Conduct Threat Modelling and Attack Simulations.
• Research and Develop security concepts and best practices in cybersecurity.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications.

Skills required

• Diploma in Computer Science or any IT equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing or supporting technologies such as firewalls, Active Directory, Virtualization, MS 365, MS Azure, Veeam, VMware is a must.
• Familiarity with security industry standards like PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 will be also a plus.
• A “can do it” attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer presentation skills.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• A practical level of experience in IT Systems Administration, IT Asset Management, Systems Documentation and Troubleshooting of issues.
• Working knowledge of IT environments including Microsoft Windows servers, VMWARE, Hyper-V, switches, routers and firewalls.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask and work under pressure.
• Fast learner and willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge.
• Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
• Valid driving license.
