Data Center Operator

Rogers Capital Technology Services Ltd is looking for a skilled Data Center Operator to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot data center systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.

This role involves routine maintenance, client support, daily physical checks, and collaboration with the Data Center System Administrator to maintain operational reliability.

Skill(s) required

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• OR significant experience with relevant technical certifications / training (e.g., CompTIA Server+, CCNA, MCSA).
• Car Driving License (Manual)
• Experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure Management
•  Familiarity with servers, networking equipment, and monitoring tools
•  Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software issues.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery processes.
•  Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

•  Monitor and maintain Server, Storage and Operating Systems
•  Perform routine maintenance, updates, and inspections.
•  Assist with hardware and software installation and configuration.
•  Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
•  Ensure physical and digital security of the data center.
•  Manage data backup and recovery processes, including regular testing.
•  Maintain detailed records and incident reports.
•  Support contractors and oversee client interventions during on-site activities.
•  Participate in emergency response and disaster recovery drills
