Client Accountant
JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY
Carry out day to day accounting duties, ensuring that all the clients’ needs are completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner according to the quality standards and directions of the Team Leader
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, analyse and interpret accounting records for book-keeping purposes.
- Process accounting transactions on dedicated accounting softwares.
- Issue trial balance & prepare management accounts on periodic basis within the target and standards set.
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and financial summaries for authorised companies
- Preparation of periodic and annual surveys as required by the Financial Services Commission.
- Liaise with clients, administrators and auditors for finalisation of audit.
- Regular follow ups with clients and auditors to ensure that outstanding matters are resolved in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue of invoices for work done to clients.
- Maintain accounting databases by performing systematic data entry in the accounting system.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements for optimum productivity and premium quality delivery while focusing on a client centric culture.
- Perform any other cognate duties.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, ACCA Level 2
- At least 1 year of experience
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong communication, accounting / analytical skills and attention to detail
- Work under pressure, effectively prioritise, manage time & workload to meet clients’ needs
