The sourcing of the young graduates is mainly from Tertiary institutions in Mauritius and can also be YEP candidates.
Young Graduates from the above mentioned are accessed through Rogers Capital active participation in:
- Career or job fairs organised by the institutions
- Get together with young graduates with the leadership team of Rogers Capital Corporate Services
- Talks by Leadership Team members of Rogers Capital to the young graduates
The enrolment of the new batches of trainees normally takes place on a 6 monthly basis to match the Tertiary Institutions’ academic year.
The Development program exists for two of Rogers Capital sectors: Corporate and Technology. This has been enabled in both formal and on the job training.
Once the graduate is accepted, he/she will undergo an induction program of one week and have access to trainings facilitated by trainers within Rogers Capital for at least 10 hours each week for a period of six months.
The rest of the training shall be on the job training with rotations organized in various departments; for Corporate, namely:
- Corporate Administration
- Trust Administration
- Funds Administration
- Compliance
- Tax Services
- Client Accounting
- Business Development
- Marketing and Communication
For the Technology sector, the training will depend on the intern speciality:
- ERP Software Developer
- ERP Functional Consultant
- Full Stack Web Developer
- Software Engineer
The company may offer financial support to employees wishing to pursue further studies based on their current professional performance and aspirations.
After that period the staff will be posted in a specific department only.
For Corporate Services the preferred professional accreditations are:
Study leaves and Exam leaves are also granted to those undertaking the professional qualifications.
For Technology Services the candidates will go through boot camps:
- Web development Boot camp
- ERP Boot camp – Developer
- ERP Boot camp – Functional
- Automation Boot camp
