Network & Security Engineer

Rogers Capital Technology Services Ltd is looking for a reliable Network & Security Engineer to work in its CDC- Network & Security Department.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install and Configure Networking Equipment.
  • Understanding of Routing, Switching, Security, Wireless and VoIP.
  • Daily Administration and Monitoring of Data Center Services.
  • Maintain and Support the Network and Security Infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support and ensure timely service delivery in accordance with established objectives.
  • Availability in response to needs of the customer for installation, maintenance and equipment malfunctions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Deliver end-user training.
  • Create and Maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented solutions.
  • Adhere to company’s processes to comply to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Obtain and maintain required certifications for partnership with key vendors.

 

Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering or any relevant degree.
  • CCNA certification.
  • Other vendor certifications will be a plus (Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, HPE Aruba…)
  • Good knowledge of networking and security concepts and implementation.
  • Knowledge of IT security concepts, trends, and practices.
  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with the following technologies will be a plus: Firewalls, Wireless Access points, and WLAN Controller.
  • Understands VLANs, NAT, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, SSH, SMTP, SNMP and other concepts.
  • Good communication skills and customer facing skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Team Spirit and using a team approach to solve problem when appropriate.
  • Ability to work under pressure & multi-task.
  • Willingness to learn and expand knowledge.
  • Valid Driving License.
