Senior Fund Administrator
JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY
To provide fund administration services to a variety of entities for which Rogers Capital provides service and to, at all times, comply with the Policies and Procedures of Rogers Capital, while coaching subordinates.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle on a portfolio of client companies
- Oversee and coach subordinates
- Perform day-to-day administration tasks including opening of bank accounts, application and renewal of TRC, processing the winding up and liquidation of companies
- Process bank transfers
- Organise board/shareholders meeting, prepare board packs, attend board/shareholders meetings, draft minutes
- Draft minutes and resolutions
- Perform filings to be made with the Registrar of Companies and Financial Services Commission
- Perform collection, record and maintenance of due diligence documents on investors, directors, third-party service providers, etc
- Update internal database for the various registers to be maintained for the client entities
- Prepare Investors reports
- Process subscriptions and redemptions
- Perform capital call and distributions
- Liaise with clients, auditors, shareholders, banks, statutory bodies (ROC,FSC and MRA) and/or stakeholders in prompt and efficient manner and ensure proper follow-ups are done
- Ensure compliance of files with relevant laws, rules and regulations and with Rogers Capital internal control procedures including independent compliance review, compliance report etc. Assist in preparing compliance reports and follow ups
- Ensure clients are being properly billed under engagement letter in place and issue invoices
- Follow up with debtors
- Handle investor queries
- Monitor all filing deadlines and ensure these are met
- Ensure customer satisfaction and delivery through fast, efficient and quality service that meets customers’ expectations
- Identify and/or escalate any issues or problems and implement remedial solutions in a timely manner
- Proactively resolve clients moderate to complex issues and escalating as required
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree holder or qualified ICSA or partly qualified ACCA/ACA
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role / global business sector
- Experience in Corporate Administration and Secretarial matters
- Sound knowledge of Companies Act, Financial Services Act and relevant legislation affecting Global Business in Mauritius
- Willingness and ability to coach staff
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to draft effective communications (emails, letters, memos, instructions) with good grammar, spelling & proofreading skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast moving, demanding, high-pressure environment
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly motivated with the ability to work well independently and in a team
- Computer Literate: Ms. Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
